As a Texas native, my roots and family are an important part of who I am. I was born and raised in Dallas and moved to the Houston area 10 years ago, which I now proudly call home. I am married to my best friend and have three amazing boys. Being a mom has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. My personal experiences and relationships have helped shape the compassion, understanding, and authenticity I bring to my work as a counselor.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences from Texas Tech University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I work with adults and couples.
I enjoy helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and personal growth. My approach is tailored to each client and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, and psychoeducation. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, trying new restaurants, watching football, and settling in for a good, scary movie!
