I was raised in Louisiana, and in 1997 I settled down in The Woodlands, TX where I now call home. I am a very proud father of 4 and an avid sports fan (LSU/A&M/UT- I've got 'em all!). I enjoy spending my free time time watching baseball, reading, writing, cooking, working out and learning magic tricks! I attended Louisiana State University where I received by undergraduate degree in English and then completed my Master's degree in Family Therapy at Mississippi College. I have spent most of my career as a therapist working with youth and their families learn how to communicate, cope and grow with each other. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have over 25 years of experience and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, Tejas Home for Youth and as the current clinical director of Sheltering Harbour RTC in Spring, TX.  I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. Being a therapist is my passion and I love my job! I employ the use of several therapeutic approaches including cognitive therapy, behavioral modification, client centered and trauma informed interventions, based on the unique needs of each client. Some areas of expertise are in anger management, abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma and family systems.
